The SAP Basis Administrator will work with clientsto understand their business requirements, and help design a solution, usingtheir business process knowledge. They will assist clients in theimplementation, configuration, and support of SAP Functionality. The goal is toeffectively integrate packaged technology into the client’s businessenvironment in order to achieve client expected business results.

Duties andResponsibilities:

This position is expected toprovide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design. Thisposition is expected to support the Basis Lead in managing SAP BASISrequirements in non-production and production environments. This person isresponsible for parameter changes, reorganizations, performance, patchapplication, upgrades and/or availability. In addition, this person must alsobe able to setup and troubleshoot issues and is required to monitor productionon a scheduled basis. This individual must have experience working DoD as wellas ERP application infrastructure networks. Other responsibilities include butmay not be limited to:

• Design and implement SAPenvironments and develop creative solutions to meet database performance;
• Manage and ensure availabilityand performance of SAP systems including underlying databases and servers;
• Manage Production SAPlandscapes;
• Lead functional teams/end usersto proactively identify, resolve, and eliminate production issues andperformance variances;
• Understand and manage disasterrecovery systems using Oracle Dataguard;
• Evaluate and apply updates andpatches as required;
• Document procedures and systemchanges;
• Monitor and tune SAP performance

Requirements

MinimumQualifications/Experience:

• 1-3 years’ experience in SAPBasis
• Should have extensive experiencein system maintenance and production support
• Should have extensive experiencein system builds, Support packs, system refresh, performance tuning
• Should have experience in ECC,BI/BW, GRC Basis
• Should have experience inSolution Manager 7.2 configuration for Technical monitoring
• Should have experience in JAVABasis
• Should have experience in XI/PIbasis
• Should good knowledge indatabase admin
• Federal experience desired (DoDexperience preferred)

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Required

Required Certifications:

• No required certifications
• SAP, SAFe, CSM certificationsdesired

Other:

• Must be US Citizen
• Must have Active DoD Secretclearance or Ability to Obtain it
• Willingness to be on-site daily
